Finding A Teacher
How do I choose a teacher on Muzigal?
Go to Find A Teacher and use the search criteria to find teachers best matched to your instrument, skill level, mode of learning and your preferred language. If you are interested in a particular teacher but would like to learn more about his/her approach prior to booking a lesson, you can book a trial to understand the teacher's style of teaching. If you are satisfied with the teacher, you can enroll under the teacher for the available teaching slots shown under his/her calendar.
I am not really comfortable with English, can I find teachers who speak my native language?
We have teachers who mostly speak Hindi and English, besides their native language. The Teachers menu option from your dashboard has a language filter to find teachers who speak and teach in your native language.
I am a hobby learner. I just want to learn some of my favourite songs, can I get teachers to help me with that?
Music as a hobby is the best choice. Muzigal helps you in that too!
Under the 'Find a teacher' option, use the filter 'Learn Popular songs' and 'Learn for an event' option. You will be matched with teachers who can teach you any famous song of your choice.
I want to learn music scientifically and appear for certification examinations, can Muzigal help me with that?
Yes, under Find A Teacher option, use the filter Learn Music Theory and Certifications. You will be matched with teachers who are qualified to teach you staff notation and help you with Trinity, ABRSM or RockSchool examinations or even Indian classical diplomas such as BA and MA qualifications.
How can I communicate with my teacher on Muzigal other than via video chat?
You can send any teacher on the site as well as on the app a chat messageby going to their profile and entering a message in the message field on the bottom left hand side of the page.
